Snow Tubing is OPEN beginning Sunday, January 15 at 11am! See YOU on the slopes!

Located in Boone, Iowa - a quick drive from Ames, Fort Dodge, Des Moines, Johnston, Urbandale,
Waukee, West Des Moines, Grimes, Adel, and other surrounding communities. Come visit us today!

Snow tubing at Seven Oaks in Boone Iowa makes for great family or group activities of all ages. Group discount rates are available. Our affordable snow tubing park includes a surface lift. Ample seating with a great view of the slopes and fast food provided at "The Lodge at Seven Oaks." Skiing and snowboarding are also available, with 600 ski rentals and 120 snowboard rentals to outfit all ages. We also offer several nightly discount programs. See YOU on the slopes!

Seven Oaks' Winter Wonderland

Our slopes consist of 11 runs varying from beginner to expert and offer a terrain park, rail yard and beginner area. We have 2 triple chairlifts, 2 surface lifts and an affordable snow tubing park. Click image below to enlarge.

Seven Oaks FREE Ride from Ames

Seven Oaks will provide FREE bus transportation from ISU Campus and Ames City Hall to Seven Oaks "The Seven Oaks FREE Ride" on Wednesday and  Thursday evenings. February 9th will be the last day for the FREE ride shuttle. 

Pick up: Ames City Hall 5:30pm or ISU Memorial Union (fountain side) 5:45pm
Return: Shuttle will leave Seven Oaks at 8:50pm

Please call ahead (515) 432-9457 if you have a group of 12 or more riding the shuttle.

In the event of inclement weather, please check the Seven Oaks Facebook page to see if the shuttle is still running.

Food Available for Purchase

The kitchen provides food options such as cheeseburgers, pizza, cheese balls, hot dogs, nachos, pulled pork, french fries and much more.

 


Rental Indemnification Agreement

All participants must sign a rental/indemnification agreement. You may print, read and sign the agreement ahead of time and bring it with you to start skiing, snow boarding or snow tubing more quickly.

Snow Tubing Rules

  • No riders or tubers under the age of 4

  • All tubers must ride in their own tube

  • No ski boots may be worn

  • Tubes may not be reserved

No lessons required - It's So Easy!

Free snow tubing for the last hour of the day with the purchase of a regular price ski or snowboard package on Saturdays and Sundays!

Snow Tubing Groups

A minimum of 12 in a group is required for groups rates. Advanced reservations required. Group leaders are responsible for lump sump payment. Groups will receive $1 per hour off the regular priced tube ticket. Each member of the group must bring a signed waiver with them.
