Seven Oaks' Winter Wonderland

Our slopes consist of 11 runs varying from beginner to expert and offer a terrain park, rail yard and beginner area. We have 2 triple chairlifts, 2 surface lifts and an affordable snow tubing park. Click image below to enlarge.

Seven Oaks FREE Ride from Ames

Seven Oaks will provide FREE bus transportation from ISU Campus and Ames City Hall to Seven Oaks "The Seven Oaks FREE Ride" on Wednesday and  Thursday evenings. February 9th will be the last day for the FREE ride shuttle.

Pick up: Ames City Hall 5:30pm or ISU Memorial Union (fountain side) 5:45pm
Return: Shuttle will leave Seven Oaks at 8:50pm

Please call ahead (515) 432-9457 if you have a group of 12 or more riding the shuttle.

In the event of inclement weather, please check the Seven Oaks Facebook page to see if the shuttle is still running.

Rental Indemnification Agreement

All participants must sign a rental/indemnification agreement. You may print, read and sign the agreement ahead of time and bring it with you to start skiing, snow boarding or snow tubing more quickly.

FREE Ski and Snowboard Lessons

Don't worry - we've all been there. We have designed our facility and programs for people just like you. You will learn more in one of our free mini-lessons or paid private lessons than you will all day from your friends.

Free lessons are open to skiers and snowboarders ages 7 and above. Beginners under age 7 are welcome if accompanied by an adult, however, we strongly recommend that they take a one hour paid private lesson.

Everyone learns at a different pace. It is important to keep your expectations reasonable. This way both you and your children have a successful and rewarding day on the slopes. Some factors that can affect learning include your temperament (how open you are to new things), age, and physical ability. Both skiing and snowboarding take special skills that improve with practice over time. Ultimately, your expectations for you and your kids should focus on the fun and excitement of the overall experience.

Our Free Ski or Snowboard lessons are offered all day every day. Lessons are offered every hour, on the hour- listen for the announcement over the PA at the rental building.

Skiing and snowboarding is FUN and we want everyone to experience it.

Ski/Snowboard Groups

A minimum of 12 in a group is required for groups rates. Groups will receive $10 off the regular priced lift ticket. Advanced reservations required. Groups leader is responsible for lump sum payment. Not valid on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

All participants must sign a rental/indemnification agreement. You may print the agreement to obtain required signatures prior to arrival.
